LandSec Strategic Acquisition


We were instructed by LandSec to secure a development site close to Portland House for a S106 affordable housing provision. After some detailed research, we managed to identify an opportunity comprising an entire street (Palace Street), which had originally been built as housing for the Stag Brewery workers.

It was in use as a hostel and kitchens, but not fit for purpose and LandSec has purchased the site and secured planning for affordable housing credits. It will soon be built out to provide much needed social accommodation. As part of the same project, we also secured a large Victorian school on Castle Lane, which we then sold with planning as a design-led new build scheme.
